Promotion and Support terms

1. Services and final displayed prices

Sponsored book strip: €2.99 for 7 days or €7.99 for 30 days. Sponsored podium rotation: €9.99 for 7 days or €29.99 for 30 days. One of ten partner logo positions: €9.99 for 30 days; the header logo position: €19.99 for 30 days. These are the final EUR prices charged by Utopia Library for the selected service: no additional platform fee or tax is added at checkout. This is not a claim about the operator’s VAT registration or your tax deductibility. Any independent currency-conversion charge by your bank is outside this EUR price.

2. Request, exact offer and acceptance

You must be at least 18 and authorized to use the submitted book, logo and destination. Sending a request is free and does not take money, reserve a confirmed position or publish material. The administrator reviews eligibility and capacity and prepares a specific offer with service, final price, position where applicable, start, end, expiry and terms version. Read and explicitly accept that exact offer in My orders before checkout. A revised offer requires a new acceptance; the initial request does not accept unknown dates or later changes. The accepted service contract and acceptance date are recorded there. Save or download the offer and terms for your records.

The calendar period is the approved start and end, not the date of the free request. An unpaid offer expires at the stated deadline, normally no later than 48 hours after it is prepared or the planned start if earlier. Activation must be arranged before the approved start to deliver the full period. If the offer cannot be delivered or payment reaches an expired or replaced offer, it must be reconciled; it does not automatically claim a new slot or revive the old one.

3. What the display includes

The sponsored podium shares a rotation among up to 10 books, with 60 seconds per book. It is not a fixed or exclusive display. The sponsored strip has up to 20 books. A logo order covers one approved position. Responsive layouts and rotation affect the visible presentation. Advertising is labelled and separate from reader likes and editorial ranking. No particular impressions, visitors, sales, votes or rank are guaranteed. Promotion does not transfer copyright, establish exclusivity, modify royalties or authorize translation, audio or video adaptation.

4. Voluntary Support

One-off Support options are €3, €5 or €10, or a freely chosen amount from €2 to €1,000 within the current pilot limit. Support buys no advertising, extra votes, access, royalty entitlement or other benefit. It is not a subscription, charitable-donation claim or promise of tax relief. The amount you choose is the final amount for that request. The word Support does not exclude mandatory rights that apply to the transaction; contact us for cancellation or refund questions.

5. Hosted payment and separate activation

When enabled for an accepted order, checkout is hosted by Stripe. Review the recipient, order reference, exact EUR amount and one-off nature before paying. Utopia Library does not ask for card numbers, IBANs or payment passwords. A return from checkout is not payment evidence. Payment is verified manually and activation is a separate administrator action. The order record is not a tax invoice or bank statement. Keep the provider receipt and ask the operator for any fiscal document legally due. No direct paid book, audio or video purchase is included.

6. Consumer withdrawal, early start and remedies

Consumers normally have 14 calendar days from conclusion of the service contract to withdraw without giving a reason. Starting within that period needs a separate express request, never a preselected checkbox. The current pilot refunds an eligible withdrawal in full, without deducting a proportionate service charge, even where the law would permit one. The right is lost after full performance only if all applicable prior consent and acknowledgement conditions are met. Payment, activation or a short package alone does not waive it. Use My orders or Contact with the order reference for cancellation, non-delivery or refund requests. A refund-pending status is not a refund: any applicable repayment is performed at the provider and then recorded here. Mandatory consumer rights and remedies for failure to deliver remain intact. There is no blanket no-refund policy or automatic renewal. New terms or prices apply only prospectively and do not replace accepted terms without a new agreement.
