1. Operator and contact
Utopia Library is operated by the individual based in Italy identified in the public operator panel on this page. The brand does not represent a separate company or a declared charity. Use contact@utopialibrary.com or the private contact form for service questions, notices and complaints. Published operator details are loaded from the current service record; no other registration, VAT number or professional status is implied.
2. What the service provides
You can discover book presentations and excerpts, save a private reading list, comment, submit your own work for review and enter available editorial contests. A complete free file is available only when its author has expressly uploaded it and selected free access. External bookshop links lead to independent sellers and their terms. Direct paid book access, automatic author royalties, on-demand translation, audio and video production are not active services. Uploading does not order these services.
Promotional placements and voluntary support are separate services governed by the promotion terms and the accepted order. A free request, checkout visit or return to the website is not proof of payment. Likes do not purchase ranking positions; the administrator approves the editorial selection independently of sponsorship.
3. Age, accounts and access
You must be at least 18 to publish, accept the author agreement or make a commercial request. Public reading does not itself require an account; minors should use the public library with a parent’s or guardian’s guidance and under the authentication provider’s applicable age rules. Do not misrepresent your age or use another person’s identity. You can sign in with Google, create an email-and-password account managed by Firebase Authentication, or use the optional native ChatGPT sign-in. Confirm your email before using an email account. The library does not store your password. ChatGPT and Firebase identities are separate: using the same email does not transfer books, orders or administrator rights between them.
Keep account access secure and report suspected misuse. An author or pen name is distinct from your account display name. Your public comments display the name shown beside the contribution form. Signing in never grants administrator privileges. Use the account tools to inspect your records, export your data or request account removal.
4. Content, AI and conduct
Share only material you have the right to use. Declare separately whether the text, cover and translation are human-created, AI-assisted or AI-generated. An AI label does not establish copyright, legality or accuracy. Do not upload plagiarised, unlawful, abusive or exploitative content, private information without a valid basis, malware or deceptive promotions. The community guidelines explain the policy, including protection of children and restrictions on explicit sexual material. Reviews assess suitability for this service, not a guarantee of literary quality, rights clearance or factual truth.
5. Review, reasons and appeals
Submissions can remain pending, be published or be hidden. The administrator may restrict content for a concrete rights, safety, legal or service-integrity concern and record a reason. Urgent protection may require hiding content before asking for clarification. The owner can view the latest book review in the studio. Use a private appeal with the book/comment reference and supporting facts if you disagree; you may also contact the operator without signing in. Appeals receive human review. Reports are not public verdicts, and disagreement alone is not abuse.
6. Responsibility and service availability
Keep your own copies of submitted files. The service may have maintenance, capacity limits and interruptions; it does not promise uninterrupted availability or commercial results. The operator must still perform accepted paid services with the care and remedies required by applicable law. Each party is responsible for its own conduct to the extent provided by law. Nothing excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud, intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence or mandatory consumer protections. These terms impose no unlimited author indemnity and do not transfer the operator’s own responsibilities to users.
7. Withdrawal, changes and applicable law
You can withdraw your own published book from the studio; hiding it ends new public access through the service but does not recall lawful copies already downloaded. Account deletion is a reviewed request, not an automatic erasure of every record. Commercial cancellation and consumer withdrawal follow the dedicated withdrawal page. Material changes apply prospectively and are identified by version; a new scope of author rights or a new commercial offer requires new explicit acceptance, not silence. A later text does not rewrite an already accepted order.
Italian law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protection under the law applicable to them. Mandatory jurisdiction and access to courts, regulators and consumer remedies remain unaffected. Contact the operator first if you wish to seek an informal resolution; this is not a compulsory waiver or barrier to exercising your rights.
